If you spend your days dreaming of balmy days, refined interiors, spectacular views and owning your own little portion of paradise (even if just for a week or so), we couldn’t think of anywhere better.

One of the beautiful little boho chic boutiques that are synonymous with the area. Lavanda is a treasure-trove of homeware and accessories that will allow you to take home a slice of the style that will have undoubtedly charmed you during your visit.
DINE – SAL
A beachfront restaurant on Praia do Pego, Sal is somewhere to soak up the ambience as you sample delicious local fare (we’re still dreaming of the fresh shrimps and black rice – one of their signature dishes). Like everything here, it is low key yet luxurious – and comes highly recommended by Sublime, who themselves offer effortlessly incredible cuisine.
DO – COASTAL HORSE-RIDING
Quintessentially romantic, horse riding along the beach doesn’t get much better than Comporta. Deep blue sea on one side, verdant green on the other, and miles of white sand beneath. It’s the perfect way to take in the dazzling scenery.

Simple and serene, if you hadn’t already escaped the stresses of everyday life at Sublime, then the spa is a place to nurture your mind, body and soul. In keeping with the hotel’s focus on nature, the products are all from The Organic Pharmacy ensuring they make a positive contribution to both your health and the environment around you. We’d recommend starting your trip on a high and indulging in their Detox Cleansing Ritual – a seaweed and salt exfoliation followed by a luxurious mud wrap – the best way to reinvigorate after your flight and prep your skin for the sun and sea.
