My Sanctuary: Emma Ainscough
While home has often been considered a feminine space, too few opportunities have been given to women to tell their stories about the places they inhabit and the objects they value. Our sanctuaries articulate our unique aesthetics, rituals and needs and so become a beautiful expression of selfhood.
In this series we discover the stories of home and life told by some of the wonderful women in our midst.
Emma Ainscough is an interior designer and consultant based in London. Her playful yet balanced interiors mix colors with patterns and old objects with new finds to create enduring spaces with plenty of personality. Emma shows us around her London home and tells us about the spaces and objects that make her space a sanctuary.
