With a color palette inspired by Le Jardin Majorelle in Morocco, the collaboration is an exclusive extension of Campbell Rey’s beloved Rosanna glassware collection. Crafted by hand in Murano, Italy, each unique piece explores the possibilities of color and geometry within the medium as the liquid glass sets solid to create slight nuances in shape and color. The collection plays on the juxtaposition between strong geometric forms and intense colors and the glossy softness that results when they are crafted by the hand of the master. When flooded with sunlight, the secondary angle on the side of each tumbler adds dimension to their octagonal shape.Â
Based in London, Campbell-Rey is a creative consultancy and design partnership founded by Duncan Campbell and Charlotte Rey, whose work is informed by an enduring respect for natural materials and traditional craftsmanship, coupled with an inherent playful aesthetic and spirit of irreverence. Returning to motifs such as trompe l’oeil, perspective and geometry, their work explores new and unexpected expressions of craft material and old world techniques to give traditional artistry a new voice in the modern landscape.Â
A playful addition to the table, the collection invokes the spirit of bonhomie in a fantastical paradise. We are delighted to have collaborated with Campbell-Rey to bring these pieces to life and into your world of entertaining at home.Â
