The Lustre Black Stripe Dinner Plate is designed by Bethan Gray in collaboration with 1882 Ltd. Made from fine bone china this plate has hand-painted black stripes and is finished with 22-carat gold – for this collection Bethan Gray was inspired by the billowing sails of Oman’s distinctive sailing boats, the stripe and dhow patterns are interpretations of its movement. This is a piece of elegant tableware that will elevate your dinner to a banquet; its sublime pattern is intricate yet minimal allowing the Lustre collection to pair serenely with linens, glassware and other textures on your table.
This pattern is only possible by hand; the motif is meticulously applied in three separate pieces and the plate is fired twice, in between paintings.
