Inspired by precisions studio tools, candle blocks are triangular forms with fine interlocking teeth that allow the creation of modular arrangements. A set of two triangular blocks can be positioned to burn either one or two taper candles, while multiple sets can be combined to create a tablescape that feels both ancient and futuristic.

Founded in 2012 by Gabriel Hendifar, Apparatus Studio is a New York based brand which has a focus on the holistic lives of objects. With a lens to the historical and cultural dimension of design they create lighting, furniture and objects which are often made of richly tactile materials - such a marble, suede, brass and lacquer - that bring to life the studio’s distinctive catalogue. Notably they embrace traditional studio craftsmanship, and finish everything by hand in their exquisite New York workshop. The studio’s pieces embody their avant-garde creation, and they forge a life of their own in your space.
